February 1st, 2008

Hectic to say the least! But I love it. I am training and as well working longer hours than I expected which comes with the workplace, but with in all that I wish to say thanks to all of you - where ever your from and I just opened up some very well intended messages and I wish on this 1st day of February to say - Let it warm up!

This area has never received such a cold climate combined with temperatures in some time, it even took down one F-18 full loaded and having to stay over night. Thank god for this weekend and thank god that it's beginning to warm up. I don't have much to write. But the past blog was a real picture that combined with the earlier post I think did have some merit.

I truly have pulled off some posts where within the write there is an array of different thoughts from different parts of the world on several things and that was most fun. Actually it was something that just happened and now and then it is neat.

What am I doing this weekend - all going well doing some photography while enjoying going for coffee at a recent fond place I found and then waiting for the cold spell to dwindle down as the weather lady says that it's going to come down on or before Tuesday!  Till then we shall brave the cold.

A great wish to you for this first weekend of February!

Peace all,

Jack

  6. Wow you sound very upbeat, despite the cold. I think being back in the thick of things agrees with you. Maybe instead of sending more hot coffee and soup, I should send you a quart of some of the special blend my mountains are famous for. Moonshine might not make your temperatures warmer but it'll sure enough make you not mind the cold nearly as much, haha.

It's morning and just enjoying the coffee. I wear them all the time not kidding! Where did turtle necks come from, I don't know of any "snow turtles" ~ Gotcha

  8. It's all good - just when you have that time to do whatever you wish to do....sometimes just sitting back and smelling the roses or in this season's case - feeling the snow or looking at it till it blinds me. Gives good reason for staying indoors or going out to somewhere else indoors - hmmm, maybe the bookstore, and who knows - just a morning and letting it flow.

  10. I'm a little late on this one. I hope your weekend brought joy and success. I hear ya on the weather. Today, I had 7 inches of snow on the ground, and rain, thunder and lightning in the sky with a 40 degree temp. Gotta love Chicago weather! If its not crazy, it isn't Chicago!

  11. Jenna Edmonton and Chicago are alike with the jet stream as what comes this way usually flows down there. Chicago is a great city - home of Perdu University!
