Obtaining What we Want in Life

Sometimes life is never ending commitments. While there is nothing wrong with being very busy, those of us who over commit or over extend ourselves potentially face exhaustion and burnout. I find that we do live in a much faster paced life and there is a need to just cultivate what is most important to us and what isnt. Here to comes balance and within balancing your own inner clock, you may be able to "tick tok" better.

I have seen some of this happen with myself and as well with others. There is this desire to get as much done within a day. But cadence is the key in obtaining things while keeping it all together. Maybe so, seems to work for me as I have been doing this for some time but I am not Ghandi, but I think that it comes down to some sort of inner spirit combined with the maturity to recognize what is best.

To regain your equilibrium and clear the clutter from your calendar, simplify your life by establishing limits regarding what you will and will not do based on your personal priorities. If simplifying your schedule seems prohibitively difficult and you still feel pressed to take on more, try imagining how each new commitment will impact your life before saying yes.

When you consider the hassle associated with superfluous obligations, you may be surprised to see that your schedule is impeding your attempts to grow as an individual. Your willingness to pare down your agenda, no matter how gradual your progress, will empower you to retake active control of the life that defines you, myself and all of us...

And of course we are growing ahead, no we are not growing older - it's all within the mindset.

Changes

We all change.

This is today and there is always a tomorrow.

How we change and what we do in the midst of changes are different for each and every one of us. For myself change is within. Look at the seasons, right now where I live it's shortly going to be snowing and then in a few months or so it going to be spring. I accept it, as a matter of fact today I came home and turned on my furnase and took a small nap that was supposed to be half an hour. Well that ended up being 1.5 hours. The day was good and it was productive and there is nothing better than doing something - work or otherwise and seeing the accomplishments that take place around you.

There is change but within our own selves when we are challenged it can be a positive one or it can be one in which we think there is a change but we return to our same old routines of thought and we never break out of the old routine that created a situation. Everyone has some situation of some sorts. But we look at it and see past the negative and vision the positive and perhaps just perhaps that is what leads towards change.

Yet there are some things within our own selves that is worthy of sustaining those certain things that are embedded within our souls that we don’t wish nor will ever let go.
Change is something that has always been about attitude. I guess what we wish to             do is to see what it is we want to manifest something - but so often it can't be forced too much it just comes about slowly and surely.

Each person has their own way in which they move their own inner spirit. And as mentioned once some will place blame on others for there own circumstances and then some will come to some realization that it's really not about anyone, nor is anyone going to do what is necessary to get the goal that is desired except our own determination. Within this area of change - we all look at it life and our stories from different vantages.

We all are living in different corners of the land.

What we do and how we do it, is something that is relative to our own state of being...

Ramble III

It's been back to the grind here and as mentioned before, I will be on here as much as I can how I wish I could be on longer but fortunately I am up so early that I have to get to bed. Today was a day in which within my line of work I had some alterations with one person and it all seemed to work out. Which is a good thing...

That all being said, it's Thursday tomorrow and the weekend is right around the corner.

"It does not matter where you come from

Nor where you’re born

All that matters is where your head is at."

Peace,

The Medals Do Shine

The Medals Shine in the Sun
Reminder of the Deeds that were done
All pinned in two Rows
Showing what had been done
As the best was done

Now white haired with a wrinkled face
Age and so much more has taken place
To recall all that was done during his youth
He carried out his missions
For what was considered the truth

The Sounds of the Bugle of that last post
With eyes that close as memories bring about thoughts
A comrade killed within the fray
Vividly he recalls on this very day

He battled on through days and nights
Only for the one reason
So that the unborn would have thier rights

Peaceful people slow to the guns
On the Eleventh Day of November
He and the likes shall be Remembered

A Day of Remembrance

We never should forget

those that served our countries

to allow our freedom

and sacrificed their own lives...

In what is called the "crown" countries this day is celebrated with a poppy and within United States this day is known as Veterans Day...

~ A Great Week To Everyone ~

The secret of a good life is to have the right loyalties and hold them in the right scale of values.

The End of the Weekend...

Yesterday I wrote on my mother and more than likely she will be calling me tonight. As well, I have spoke about my father and I found that during the afternoon, I just felt down. The reason is that I am not near them and I truly do miss being around them.

My father does not have much time left within his life, and the situations that all took place sometimes hit me. They concern me and in some ways I wish I was closer to them. Today was the one day that I just said that I am taking my own time to myself.

I am not looking for pity but I am really working hard, and weekends just are not long enough. I like some of you am human and I always try to keep preoccupied, as I know that something could happen and I am here living in a different city.

I know that tomorrow will be a new day, but there are times that things with my family do hit me. And there is nothing I can do. The only thing I can do - is with regards to myself which I am in more ways than I have ever write about at times. So I accept, I accept what comes and I try not to over think things - but it's not exactly easy. Perhaps it's the time of year right now and the adjustment here to the weather, or maybe it's just me.

But in a delayed manner I refected on my folks and when I talk to them it feels like I am overseas and there is not one thing I can do about that. You honor you folks as you love them and when you know that they have been challenged, and there will be more to come. It sometimes leaves you feeling with some dispair.

Everyone is different when it comes to this I know. For myself it's something that comes and goes as I always thought that there would be more time. More time yeah. So for me, there is more time but I don't know that many that live life while knowing that there will be a time that comes sooner than later with my father.

Challenges I guess this is. Sometimes you wish you could turn the clock back, but the actual fact is that all you can do is accept and keep a positive outlook. As well a routine wishin work does keep your mind off these areas.

I know what I want in life, but at the same time I do know that I wished to be able to share what I achieved with the people that brought me into this life and possibly in time a new partner. But for now this is how it is, and I accept it. And I think forward and sometimes I just give allowance to what is right within the day - rather than thinking too far ahead.
