Be Well and Let it Shine

The Trail of Discovery

The Trail of Discovery

View the path

All straight and crooked

A hidden energy seemingly pulling

At a speed just barely visible

Yet vast within the array

 Discover the air about

Fluidly as it all blends

Against a soothing surface

Find the tangle of small willows

With leaning reflections

And there too the stones

Ahead on the bank

Slight movements

Gently mirror the way

With colors of vastness

All within an array

Fulfillment flourishes

Within the the glides of green

Where water meets air

Within the climate of the calm

See the swallows

Skimming along the water's surface

Twisting their narrow wings as they rise

Without a thought nor surprise

 Encompassed with robust depths

From within and beyond

Within the find of oneness

All encompassed without reprise

For there lays the foundation

Within the trail of discovery

All encompassed

These Souls of Splendor

Sting - Every Breath You Take

Born in Newcastle, England in 1951, the son of a milkman, Gordon Matthew Sumner, grew up in the turmoil of the shipbuilding industry and wanted to become a musician very early.

He played cruise ships, backing strippers in cabarets, and developed a love for the bass guitar. Having played in jazz/rock bands like "Last Exit" and other various groups, including a Dixieland jazz group, where he got the name "Sting" from a yellow/black striped shirt, he settled down with Stewart Copeland and Andy Summers for a decade-long tenure with the smashing rock trio, The Police.

He then went on to record solo albums. In addition, holds a reputation as one of the most literate songwriters and talented musicians in the world. Sting is married to film producer Trudie Styler, and has six children with Trudie and ex-wife, actress Frances Tomelty. Sting owns a Jacobian castle in Wiltshire, which he calls "Lake House", where he records his albums, a place in London, an apartment in New York, a place on the beach in Malibu, California, and a Renaissance Florentine Villa called "Palagio" in Figline Valdarno, Tuscany, Italy.

One ironic thing pertaining to Sting is that for one summer he attended the University of Saskatchewan as before he got his start within music he intended to pursue a career as a teacher.

Called pretentious and is accused of intellectual arrogance for stepping into territory not usually covered by pop stars. Yet with time Sting has went far beyond the days of dealing with the music critics.

While en Route this morning....

From a coffee within a silent place to the doing the routine that I have been I took my digital camera along. The last three days went from very hot and humid temperatures to less than mean tempertures over these las few days.

There is not much going on within these parts. As well one could see the erosion due to climate shifts of one side of the skytrail within this town.

SADE - Love is Stronger Than Pride

Where Class Meets Music
Born Helen Folasade Adu on January 16, 1959 in Ibadan, Nigeria. Raised in London by her English mother, Sade developed several interests as a teen, including singing, fashion design and modeling. She sang with a few local bands before signing with Epic Records and recording her first album, Diamond Life, in 1984. A huge hit in her native England, the album also had mass appeal across the pond thanks to such singles as "Smooth Operator.” In 1986, she won a Grammy Award for Best New Artist. Sade's subsequent multi-platinum albums, Promise, Stronger Than Pride, and Love Deluxe, established her as a top-selling soul and pop artist. She took a new route with her 2000 album, Lovers Rock, which was released eight years after Love Deluxe and incorporated a more mainstream sound. The record, and particularly the chart-topping single, "By Your Side," helped her win over new audiences. Two years later, the album and ensuing tour inspired her first live recording, Lovers Live. Sade returned to the studio and released her sixth album In February 2010, Soldier of Love. Sade married Spanish filmmaker Carlos Scola in 1989; the couple divorced three years later. In 1996, she and Jamaican record producer Bobby Morgan had a daughter, Ila Morgan.

Sade most of all is one of the classiest singers. In a time where there is much competition. She took ten years off, of recent has made a comeback, and is on tour. She lives a very private life but I don’t know about you but I would love to meet Helen Adu!

It's been a music collage as the weather has went from hot to wet - yet this is and has been enjoyable. I have never been on as much as the last three days, but that is alright...
